　　一、美國本科申請時間

　　春季入學(xué)網(wǎng)申的開始時間一般都是在5、6月份，截止時間為一般為10月底，不同學(xué)校deadline不一樣。

　　秋季入學(xué)網(wǎng)申開始時間一般在8、9月份，截止日期一般從10月到次年3月不等。早申請跟常規(guī)申請的截止時間都要上學(xué)校確認(rèn)清楚哦！

　　二、美國本科申請要求

　　1、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試成績

　　美國大學(xué)入學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試（Scholastic Assessment Test，SAT）是由美國大學(xué)委員會（collegeBoard）主辦的美國高中生大學(xué)入學(xué)考試之一。常見的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試還有ACT，它也是獎學(xué)金發(fā)放的重要依據(jù)之一。

　　雖然不是所有學(xué)校都要求學(xué)生提交標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試成績，但它們是申請獎學(xué)金的必要條件，亮眼的成績絕對是加分項(xiàng)。建議大家在高二就要開始考試，給自己多點(diǎn)機(jī)會。

　　在20中，像斯坦福、布朗大學(xué)、杜克大學(xué)等5所大學(xué)表示，申請者可以不遞交SAT寫作成績。如今，越來越多的學(xué)校將SAT/ACT考試成績變?yōu)榭蛇x提交的成績，即“test—optional”或“test—flexibility”。

　　芝加哥大學(xué)不要求申請者提交SAT成績，但是國際申請者不享受這個待遇哦！

　　依據(jù)目前北美考生及國際考生SAT分?jǐn)?shù)都不低的形式來看，SAT高分依舊在申請上占巨大優(yōu)勢。高分到底是多高分呢？

　　（耶魯大學(xué)25%—75%的大一學(xué)生成績區(qū)間）

　　對于國際申請者來說，除了標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試成績，TOEFL/IELTS等語言成績也是必須的。

　　美國大學(xué)本科招生對國際學(xué)生的英語要求一般從TOEFL70—100或者IELTS5。0—7。0不等，基本符合大學(xué)要求即可。因?yàn)橥懈Ｑ潘汲煽兪怯残砸�求，所以備考越早越好，詞匯量和刷題也很重要。

　　2、高中成績

　　GPA，英文全稱Grade Point Average，即平均成績點(diǎn)數(shù)，它反映了一段時間范圍內(nèi)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度和學(xué)習(xí)能力。

　　申請美國大學(xué)本科的時候，要求提供申請人三年的`在校成績，然后換算成GPA。如果是高三在讀的學(xué)生，申請的時候可以提供之前五個學(xué)期的成績，但是報(bào)到的時候要求提供所有高中三年的成績。

　　根據(jù)申請學(xué)校的不同，對于GPA的要求會有不同（基本要求3。0以上），有些熱門學(xué)校的熱門專業(yè)競爭激烈，要求GPA不能低于3。8（折合中國的百分制95分）。

　　值得注意的是，很多學(xué)校是不設(shè)GPA最低標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的，這也就說明了成績雖然很重要，但是也并不是的評判標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

　　3、申請材料

　　除了各種成績單，另外需要準(zhǔn)備的材料主要有：ESSAY、推薦信、簡歷、學(xué)校申請表、其他證明材料等。

　　以上是一些比較硬性的要求。眾所周知，美國大學(xué)比較重視學(xué)生的綜合素質(zhì)，因此學(xué)生除了學(xué)術(shù)成績方面達(dá)到要求，也要在社會活動等方面積累豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

　　三、美國本科申請方式

　　了解完美國本科申請的要求后，那么中國的高中畢業(yè)生可以以哪些方式申請呢？

　　1、直接申請美國本科一年級

　　直升適合早做好準(zhǔn)備的申請者。對于國際申請者來說，如果你已經(jīng)有符合學(xué)校要求的語言成績和SAT，可以直接申請美國大學(xué)本科。SAT成績有效期為兩年，且中國大陸暫未設(shè)考場，所以大家在做規(guī)劃的時候要安排好考試時間。

　　美國本科直錄托福要求一般最低79分，雖然一些學(xué)校并未給出申請時托福成績的最低要求，但大部分例如像耶魯大學(xué)、哥倫比亞大學(xué)等托福至少要100分以上才有希望哦。

　　2、語言+本科雙錄取

　　此方法主要是針對沒有語言成績或語言能力暫時較弱的學(xué)生。

　　學(xué)校會發(fā)出兩份通知書：一份是學(xué)校的語言中心錄取通知書，另一份是學(xué)校的專業(yè)錄取通知書。

　　拿到雙錄取后，首先進(jìn)入學(xué)校的語言中心學(xué)習(xí)英語，通過考試達(dá)到學(xué)校的要求后，不需要另行申請，就可以直接進(jìn)入大學(xué)進(jìn)行專業(yè)課！

　　美國大學(xué)雙錄取項(xiàng)目既保證每一個符合條件的申請人都能獲得學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會，同時又保證學(xué)校的正常教學(xué)不會因?qū)W生聽不懂課程而被延誤。但是出國讀語言也是一筆不小的花銷，所以建議大家在申請前考取語言成績。

　　3、社區(qū)大學(xué)

　　國內(nèi)選擇社區(qū)學(xué)院的申請人大多是看中了它的過渡性轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)課程。選擇此類課程需要特別注意與其對接的院校。對于目前條件不夠，要想去美國前50的學(xué)校，選擇社區(qū)大學(xué)入讀是最為理想的做法。

　　只要學(xué)生達(dá)到社區(qū)大學(xué)與美國的轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)協(xié)議的要求（通常100分達(dá)到80分），就可以成功轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)。缺點(diǎn)是社區(qū)學(xué)院只有2年，學(xué)生讀完之后，如果想拿學(xué)士學(xué)位，必須轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)到四年制大學(xué)。

　　美國本科藝術(shù)留學(xué)優(yōu)勢和費(fèi)用

　　一、美國本科藝術(shù)留學(xué)優(yōu)勢

　　1、學(xué)生動手能力強(qiáng)

　　與國內(nèi)藝術(shù)學(xué)校相比，美國藝術(shù)類大學(xué)往往在課程設(shè)置、授課方式、教學(xué)理念、學(xué)生創(chuàng)造性思維等方面獨(dú)具特色。比如說，他們的大學(xué)課程很豐富，可能涵蓋十多種學(xué)科領(lǐng)域，且與現(xiàn)代技術(shù)手段相結(jié)合，不再是陳舊的理論。而且，學(xué)生普遍動手能力強(qiáng)，因此，學(xué)生的就業(yè)非常有針對性。

　　2、先進(jìn)的藝術(shù)理論

　　在藝術(shù)理論方面，美國一直走在前列。缺乏基本的藝術(shù)知識和技能的教育決不能稱為真正的教育，沒有藝術(shù)的教育是不完整的教育。

　　二、美國本科藝術(shù)留學(xué)學(xué)費(fèi)

　　公立大學(xué)藝術(shù)專業(yè)費(fèi)用約3~4萬美元/年；私立大學(xué)藝術(shù)專業(yè)費(fèi)用約至少4萬美元/年。

　　三、美國本科藝術(shù)留學(xué)生活費(fèi)

　　1、飲食費(fèi)用

　　一般來說，留學(xué)生們?nèi)粘ｏ嬍秤幸韵聨追N選擇。

　　第一就是直接在學(xué)校餐廳就餐，比較省時、省事，一頓正常的午餐大約需要4到8美元。

　　如果時間比較緊，可以直接外出就餐，美國小快餐店吃一頓漢堡、三明治或比薩大概要花5到8美金，好一點(diǎn)的餐廳大約15到30美金不等。

　　自己做飯，可去中國人開的超市買各種食料，不僅能滿足對美食的需求，而且還能省下不少錢。飲食平均每月花費(fèi)跨度在600—1000美元之間。

　　2、住宿費(fèi)

　　學(xué)校宿舍：去往美國留學(xué)的留學(xué)生們住校的開銷大約為每年2—5萬人民幣。適合人群：入學(xué)新生。一些學(xué)校要求留學(xué)生住在學(xué)校宿舍，至少第一年是這樣。也有一些學(xué)校，學(xué)生可以走讀。走讀生比住校生省錢，但增加了交通費(fèi)。學(xué)校設(shè)定的膳食是學(xué)校食堂提供的常規(guī)食物。宿舍費(fèi)用是指明雙人合住一室，需要了解住宿費(fèi)是否已包括床上用品（被子、枕頭、毯子）和基本的寢室服務(wù)。倘若您暑期住校，食宿費(fèi)用的預(yù)算需增加三個月。

　　在外租房：根據(jù)所租房屋的條件不同，價格也差距較大，每年約為2。5—5萬人民幣；一般來說大城市里地理位置比較好的、交通方便的（靠近地鐵）、精裝修的單間要5000人民幣/月到1萬人民幣/月。

　　寄宿家庭：3500人民幣/月—6500人民幣/月（視美國家庭情況不同價格）。適合人群：學(xué)習(xí)語言課程的學(xué)生。

　　3、書本和必需品費(fèi)用

　　學(xué)校會估算每學(xué)年的書本和必需品的費(fèi)用。如果專業(yè)需要專門的必需品，如機(jī)械、藝術(shù)、電影，消費(fèi)就要比普通的高。美國還有一項(xiàng)非常驚人的支出，就是各種昂貴的教科書，小伙伴們可以嘗試在網(wǎng)上尋找便宜的二手教科書，當(dāng)然重點(diǎn)要品相好~不過假如你花錢買了一本新的，到時候也可以轉(zhuǎn)賣出去嘛~

　　4、不同城市的留學(xué)生活費(fèi)用

　　美國特大城市——紐約、洛杉磯、邁阿密、芝加哥、華盛頓首府等城市，生活費(fèi)約為1萬—2萬元人民幣/月。

　　美國大城市——匹茲堡、西雅圖、拉達(dá)斯、亞特蘭大等，生活費(fèi)約為1萬元人民幣/月。

　　美國三級城市——美國南部、中西部、東南部州、德州、康州等一些州，生活費(fèi)用一般約為8000元人民幣/月。

　　美國四級城市——俄克拉荷馬州、密蘇里州、路易斯安納州等地區(qū)，生活費(fèi)用一般約為5000元人民幣/月。

　　No.1：一套文書，不是單指一篇Essay，而是包括好幾篇Essays、推薦信、簡歷、以及其它附加材料。要想成功申請國外高校，整套文書必須是一個有機(jī)的整體，利用一切可能的空間來全方位展現(xiàn)大家的內(nèi)在和外在。Essay不是單純意義上的作文，Essay是深度展現(xiàn)大家的最好方式。Essay的內(nèi)容，在簡歷、推薦信、附加材料、（有時也在另外的Essays里）都會或多或少地得到體現(xiàn)。

　　No.2：直接“借鑒”別人的Essay，看起來好像是省事省心的“好辦法”，但其實(shí)對申請100%有害無益。因?yàn)閯e人Essay里的寫的事情，在其它文書里絲毫得不到體現(xiàn)，其真實(shí)性就會受到懷疑。即便在其它文書里也加進(jìn)去相關(guān)內(nèi)容，但是還有面試。面試的很大一部分話題都來自文書所展現(xiàn)的內(nèi)容，因?yàn)槊嬖囌邔δ愕牧私鈨H僅來自你的文書。沒有經(jīng)歷過的事，在面試時談起，一眼就會被面試官看穿。

　　No.3：如果全文“借鑒”，帶來的后果就是：這篇Essay和其它Essays的水平、風(fēng)格相差太多。要知道一套申請材料里，還有很多地方要用到英文寫作的。非常容易穿幫，風(fēng)險實(shí)在太大；如果不全文“借鑒”，也很容易穿幫。一篇好的Essay，尤其是一個樣本，是一氣呵成的感覺。從敘事到情感的抒發(fā)，是不可分割的整體。心理描寫部分很出彩，但是如果沒有前面所有的敘事鋪墊，就會很突兀，很奇怪。我們也經(jīng)�？磳W(xué)生寫的英文材料，哪個段落是“借鑒”的，哪個段落是真正自己寫的，甚至哪句話是“借鑒”的，都一目了然。更不用說那些整天閱讀Essays的評審老師們了。所以，為了自己的切身利益和成功申請，不要冒這個險，還是最好找一個專業(yè)的申請規(guī)劃師幫助我們指導(dǎo)文書的寫作。

　　People once asked me：“Why did you choose architecture？” I couldn’t give asimple answer for that。 Maybe it was because I like painting and constructionsince childhood。 I also earnestly yearn to create beautiful things on my own andarchitecture can satisfy my imagination in space，materials，and color。 My borninterest in this sector is also because of my parents，who are both structuralengineer and electrical engineer，influencing me gradually and unconsciouslysince I was a kid and giving me perceptual knowledge in the field。 After myfive—year study in the Department of Architecture，and one—year work experiencein architectural design，I ask myself this same question。 The result is thataside from the factors mentioned above，what really makes me choose architectureis its intrinsic appeal，which is just like the maxim written inside thebuilding of the Department of Architecture：“Architecture is the combination ofart and technology。”
